Chartres Cathedral is one who is known for its bright blue bay, the most famous, is the Virgin and Child, known as the window of Virgin Blue. During the 2nd World War, most of the stained glass from the cathedral and stored in the environment to protect it away from the German bombers. The cathedral was used as the Social Club during the German occupation of France. After the war, the windows were hiding, and put reinstalled.

I am not speaking of a church or a cathedral in France, to know where arched windows are to avoid a rupture, but that does not mean that it happened.
